Why watermark your documents before sharing?

Many Malaysians share sensitive documents — IC (MyKad), driving licence, passport — with banks, employers, or agents without protection. A watermark limits misuse by clearly stating the purpose of sharing.

Can the watermark be removed?

Watermarks applied directly onto the image are very difficult to remove cleanly — especially diagonal text across the document. While no watermark is 100% removal-proof, it significantly deters misuse.
